Hi,
Maybe it would be great to check the frequency alignment, on FM first, using an accurate frequency counter.
Also, since you're using hotspot, you could check the DMR BER with MMDVMCal.

Hi,
I have worked with pistar-mmdvmcal and checked the frequency resulting in BER 0.0% - 0.1%. Then I have adjusted "Bessel Zero" with a SDR. As mentioned, this occurs as well as on hotspots and repeater but not with my other rigs. I let them running together with the DM-1701 for testing. Don´t worry. It´s really not critical but sometimes it happens...
For your information: I will flash the APRS beacon FW on my RT-90 for testing. That´s would be a nice feature. And my RD-5R works nice with a 25Q128FVSG flash memory.
