i have 5 of the md9600 running opengd. they all are very sensitive to the voltage input. at 12.0vdc they only put out about 10-15 watts FM, but at 13.2v they put out 40watts and 13.8v closer to 50watts. i see 7-8amps of draw at the 13.2v and get max 45watts. this is all VHF analog FM numbers into swr1.1 antenna. on UHF i get about 1/2 the output power as VHF with same 7-8 amps draw. i have not done any calibrations. next time i upgrade the firmware i probably will.

Thanks for this info! This definitely helps me understand why my radio was doing what it was doing.

I also plan on trying the calibration as soon as I get a chance.
