OpenGD77 compatible with FW D026.057?

Hello, I want to order a new TYT MD-9600 from Aliexpress.
The version they sell these days (May 2023) shows these versions, see photo:
Firmware version: D026.057
CP version: V01.28
Is it compatible with OpenGD77?

As far as we know we have firmware versions for all revisions of the MD9600. Of course TYT could change the design again at any time so we can never be certain.(They have done that about 5 times already).

My radio is similar to the one the OP mentioned, except mine is FW version S026.057. I think the difference is that mine has GPS. But I opened it to confirm it has V5 hardware, then took the plunge and installed the latest OpenGD77 build. It went flawlessly, first try.
At present it's running very well for me. But if I ever want a change of pace or want to sell it, the ability to revert to stock would be nice.
Has anyone seen a S026.057 firmware binary for download?
I can only find older versions that I'm unsure would work with V5 hardware.

Firmware version already in the radio is not relevant, becuase the firmware is completely replaced by the OpenGD77 firmware.
We are not aware of any problems with any MD-9600 radio versions, including the latest hardware versions (V5)

I just received a device with same HW/FW as per initial post (no GPS, TYT CPU) and thought it might be helpful to re-confirm that everything works as expected using latest Beta FW V5 (2023-07-15).

Rob, did anyone approach you on this? I certainly won't go back to the original FW, just want to know if the FW is available... Thanks.

Try getting in touch with TYT customer service. They have in the past been good at supplying firmware.
The 026 at the beginning of the firmware version indicates it is for the V5 radio. TYT normally release three versions of each firmware.
006.xxx = V1 V2 and V3 radios
016.xxx = V4 radios
026.xxx = V5 radios.
The radio version numbers are what we use for OpenGD77, they may not be the same as those used by TYT.
