LED in the microphone

Post by SP2GPU » Tue Jan 31, 2023 8:00 pm

Hello.
Is it possible to make the led in the microphone work like in the MD-760 radio? It is red when transmitting but not when receiving.
Regards
Matt

It is in the microphone, but it only works when transmitting

The MD9600 has no software controllable LED indicators.

The Microphone LED is directly controlled by the PTT switch.

Hi.
Looking at the microphone diagram, there are two free pins in RJ45. You can take the signal from the squelch transistor and change the LED to green/red.
