This version now has a separate GPS screen, like the UV380 version, and a GPS option in the General Options menu
If the MD9600 has a GPS it will be detected, but in order to use the GPS screen, the GPS must be turned on in the General Options menu.
This so that operators can choose to manually enter their location, even if the GPS is fitted and is working.
I don't personally have a MD9600 with a GPS, however I'm hoping to find a way to connect and external GPS and I will post details when I have managed to do this.
