Alpha version available for download
Re: Alpha version available for download
Please can you make a video that shows the problem so we can understand it.

Re: Alpha version available for download
The Audio you are hearing is coming back from the repeater.
The MD9600 firmware cannot be causing that because it is impossible for it to transmit and receive at the same time.
That delay must be happening in the repeater and would be the same for any radio.

I tried with several devices only on MD 9600, it is present on other devices, there is no 73 9a3lj
Re: Alpha version available for download
you're right it's up to the repeater it's a repeater hybrid with Alstar software analog digital that I and 9a6nvi did depends on the device. We'll work it out on the repeater

TS indicator is displayed in inverse video when it's OFF.arcticsilver wrote: ↑Sun Mar 27, 2022 3:10 amHi,
I seem to have DMR filtering problems, its running V4 (hw 2.06) and if i scroll through the DMR filters, i cannot the set to off, also even with TS filtering off in the quick menu the TS indicator on the display remains in inverse text and I don't receive any DMR audio? It also seems to need the correct colour code too to receive, where as my OpenGD77 handheld doesn't. It appears the quick menu DMR filter off/on is not setting the radio into digital monitor/promiscuous mode.
Thanks
Martin
You have to be on the correct CC to receive, even on the HTs, unless you have CC Filter OFF (in old releases).
BTW, are you sure you're validating the changes made in the QuickMenu with 'ENT' key, and not 'ESC' ?
Cheers.

Re: Alpha version available for download
The CC filter has been temporarily removed from the firmware as it was causing crashes. It may return in a future release.
All of the other filter settings can be changed using the rotary knob or the B and C buttons on the microphone.
Are you saying that rotating the knob in both directions only results in the values increasing? If so then your radio may have a fault. If this is the case then you should still be able to use the B and C buttons.

Re: Alpha version available for download
Sorry I can’t reproduce your problem.
The DMR filter setting in the quick menu has settings of None, TG, Ct and RxG
I can set any of these in either direction in DMR or FM mode.
I notice you mention button remapping. Does the same thing happen if you turn that off?
Colin.

BTW
Button remap will be removed in the next Alpha version

Re: Alpha version available for download
That does seem to be strange. None of my radios do the same, so something odd is happening on yours.
Have you tried using the microphone B and C buttons to change the setting instead of using the knob?
You are moving the knob a bit too quickly to see exactly what it is doing. Does one click clockwise increment the frequency by one step? And one click anti-clockwise decrement back to the starting frequency.
