What is not suppoted is the Talk Permit Channel free / CC free system
Did I miss the talk about it somewhere on the forum...?

Before, I didn't need any tones (they where too loud and I turned them off), cause I could tell by blinks of the display and clicks of the speaker when to speak.

Now when the FW is much better (with one new very special option - click suppression) I start to miss channel free tone, as I have it on other radios.

tl;dr? :D Can channel free tone be implemented for MD9600?

This may be possible, but it does not work correctly with the official firmware, so possibly the C6000 DMR chips has bugs in this functionality

Thanks Roger! "Possible" as an answer is enough for now. ;)
