Md9600-uv-V2. 1-170608
OK.

You have V2.1 hardware

(I don't think V1 hardware exits)

I will add you to the list of testers after I have documented the installation process

Hello.
I tried to install following the instructions but no success. Unable to install cps openGD77. It shows com port errors. For the firmware update no problem but the following steps are impossible...

Which version of Windows are you using ?

Check the device manager for the OpenGD77 COM port

Make sure you select MD9600 as Radio type

Good Morning
Are you still in need of people to test the Alpha version of the firmware. I have four MD 9600's of the first run of hardware. I'm available to help if needed.

Thanks
Drew

You need to describe the problem in more detail.

e.g. Did the firmware install OK

Do you see the OpenGD77 Com port

What exact COM port errors you are seeing etc etc

Just saying you get com port errors is not enough information to understand the problem

Hi I will email you a copy

Your radio is probably hardware version 2 or 2.1, despite the official firmware reporting Hardware version 1.

If you open your radio and look on the PCB it will almost certainly be V2.1
