hi VK3KYY
this file "MD9600-CSV(2571V5)-V26.45.bin"
https://www.passion-radio.com/index.php ... chment=760
deleted from this link,
can you upload it again?
thanks
When you go to the link
https://www.passion-radio.com/index.php ... chment=760
you will receive file "210525 MD-9600 V4 firmware for PLL2571.zip"
Save that file to your computer and open the file.
The file that you want, "MD9600-CSV(2571V5)-V26.45.bin" is inside the file you saved from the link

I searched but didn't find anything about how to save a channel, ok from the vfo I choose the frequencies then I enter the menu and go to the channel details I add the information such as tone power and others, then I go back to the vfo I select the vfo for the new channel and the channel is created , then I go to the memories and choose the new channel, I go back to the menu again in the channel details I write the name I want to add and then I press enter or green at the end, but when I change channels and when I return to the newly created channel the name I added it no longer appears, that is, it is not saved, only the channel with all the information is saved but the name of the channel returns to “new channel ###” ! ANY HELP WITH THIS? thanks :?:

To permanently save a modified channel to the codeplug you need to use SK2 + Green. Pressing Green on its own only makes a temporary change.

On the MD 9600 press and hold the D button on the mic to set SK2 then press A/B (Green) to save the channel.

I received a new MD9600 yesterday, Version 2.1. Got it all set up with the official OEM CPS and loaded up an .rdt file that I have used on my GD77 with great success. Existing drivers worked fine in Win10 Pro.

So, printed all the open firmware instructions and began that process. I get to the point where I need to hold the orange and P1 buttons when I power up to enable firmware upload. (DFU mode?) Nothing happens when depressing all three buttons at the same time.

Radio powers up normally with the green power button but holding orange and P1 while depressing the power button has no effect at all.

I've reviewed all the instructions and fail to see where I missed something.

Any ideas?
