Hi,

The firmware works in promiscious mode by default, you need to select one of the DMR filters in your case:

I think you're talking about TS1 and TS2, instead of TGx, right?

If the timeslot you want to transmit to is free, just select it with star key, and transmit.

I don't know if you're using a hotspot with multiple static TGs, but of course you can't transmit on a busy Timeslot, whatever filter you select.

Of course, if you switch to the desired TS and the HT remains silent, that's the sign you can transmit.
The RSSI meter display HF signal, so if your repeater/hotspot is already transmitting on another TS, it's normal to see that level.
