Its the same CPS.
Two methods of uploading - firmware or codeplug.
Firmware (under Extras) requires you to hold down SK1 and SK2 when booting the radio. Display should be blank and unlit.
The usb id is used (HID) so no special installer required (assuming win10)
For the codeplug - when the cps is installed it will prompt you for a driver install. This is for codeplug read/write.
Radio turned on normally for codeplug transfers - also Extras menu - read/write codeplug.
