Hello Roger. With this specific version, I'm experiencing a higher BER than previous versions. Right now at 1.2% and on the other end I'm getting reports of slight dropouts. The dropouts present themselves as well while listening. All of this is happening with GD77 as a hotspot, haven't had this issue with the radio in normal use, only while in hotspot mode.

I've reverted to the stable version and all audio issues have reverted as well. This is a 2-month-old GD77 so not sure if this is related to a specific version of the hardware.

Hello Luis.
Could you post a photo of the plaque, plate under the battery of the radio on the forum?

hi
I have 2 GD77. I have no audio problem with one of them, but the second as some trouble with the audio: When switched on, there is no melody and the DMR audio stays muted during a while, then it comes back. The audio FM is OK. Then sometimes the DMR audio disappers from time to time later

I have tried to replicate the -12dB Beep volume bug, but it does not occur on my radio.

Most people find that increasing the beep volume a little fixed the problem

I have not this bug any longer with the "Experimental changes to code optimisation" :)

backlight turns off automatically after 15 seconds.. as I said before, I have no proof, it's just a feeling..
Feeling was wrong :D .. It's just that the battery drains more at the beginning and the drain is slowing down after a while. So the real problem is, that the percentage of unloading shown in the display isn't linear..
