No. it hangs my DM1801, and I have to remove the battery to get it back into DFU mode.
I flashed back the released version and it works fine.

Are you using the latest CPS version?

It will not work with older CPS versions

help

I updated my 1801 after that, it didn't turn on even in upgrade mode, help how can I solve it.
Take the battery out.

Turn the radio off.

Install the latest CPS

Install the firmware again

Edit. I just retested this and my DM-1801 works just fine.

Callsign ??

There are a few cases telling about the same sceneario:

Used previous CPS, (not last one)
Updated to last beta,
Radio no longer working.

In some cases have had last CPS installed but...
Radio not being detected by computer anymore.

May those cases be selectable for "rewrite" them by using STLINK?

Take a walk there.

Then give us more details about CPS / firmware / Locale / etc (other posters: that rule also apply to you).
I just flashed the latest firmware to my GD-77, and works perfectly fine. the SHA256 sum of OpenGD77.bin file is a2671fbc54f259601d9f6770edb464e6b622da241825ddcec5e0538def0cc35b
