Great Success on DM-5R

Forums are mostly a place where people post problems, and others post solutions. So, I thought I'd change it up a bit, and post something joyful.

Last night, I installed the v4.2.8 firmware on a Baofeng DM-5R. This morning, I wrote a code plug to connect to my Brandmeister/TGIF hotspot. I uploaded it to the radio, and a minute later I was speaking to a guy in England 5-9 with 0% Loss/BER.

I have a few different radios, so I'm familiar with a variety of CPS, including RT Systems products, and CHIRP of course. IMHO: OpenGD77 Rocks

I haven't begun to scratch the surface of the features of this FW for the DM-5R, or the CPS. But I'm already very, very impressed! Hats off to Roger and the Dev Team.
