Stable release (2023 03 04)

Post by VK3KYY » Sat Mar 04, 2023 2:47 am

We believe that the current codebase is as stable and can be released as a Stable version

The entire stable release folder can be found here downloads/releases/MK22/R20230304 this includes source code and build tools etc

The firmware is identical to the last Release Candidate, but its package in a zip file for legal reasons so that the license and readme file is distributed with the firmware file.

downloads/releases/MK22/R20230304

The binaries in the "Latest" folder have also been updated

downloads/CPS/Old_Releases/OpenGD77CPSI ... .25.01.exe

However they are the same as the last Beta version, except for the build date and the git revision.
The Git revision is different becuase the copyright date had to be changed to 2023 and the .cproject file had an incorrect build product path, which was causing the release files generation script to fail.

Thanks, to Daniel F1RMB and Colin G4EML for all their hard work with the firmware and software development, and to the many beta testers.

Edit.

There was a problem with the codec_cleaner version in the source code build tools folder, this has now been fixed. Thanks to Daniel F1RMB

I know you're around 16 hours ahead of me.

Your links are 04 03 but the server directory is 03 04 so the links don't work.

Ah. Yes

You are correct.

I'll change it.

Folder name was correct. Post title and my links were not

But I'm still UTC + 11 at the moment ;-)

I hope to add the Calibration screen from the UV380 to the GD77 in the near future, but that could be weeks away, so I felt it was better to release the source code now, rather than continually waiting until no other changes were in the pipeline.

Does it make sense to update if the latest beta is installed?
No need to Update from the last Beta . The functionality is identical
