If there are transmissions on both TS , some people may want to change which TS they are listening to, without disabling TS filter.
I think this used often
So useing * to disable TS filter would cause annoyance to many people

Hello.
Suddenly, the screen turned over today. This has not been observed for a very long time. I use 1801 with mmdvmhost on WIN7.
I turned on the station, after turning it on it worked correctly, launched mmdvm, the connection with brandmeister was established, but I could not sell anything. Nothing happened in the console when PTT was pressed. I looked at 1801, the screen is upside down. Turned off/turned on 1801, everything worked.

Hardware glich caused because RF is being injected back inside the radio via the USB cable.

It's unlikely. It has been working in this mode for several months every day. I use it at work as a DMR node, 250 mW.

Ok, it is likely that it is so not all of us we have the same ideas (thank goodness) I like simple and comfortable use possibly with one hand, others using more keys to achieve the goal ....
Sorry if I made you waste time for other new jobs

If you are on Channel A on TS2, Then press * to change to TS1, Then press * to change back to TS2
The radio is now set to manual override of TS, ( to TS 2)
Changing to Channel B , or any other channel, the radio stays on the override TS ( 2 in this case)

To clear the manual override of TS so that it follows the TS in the codeplug for each channel, you must use long press *
Seems that I have activated timeslot override , probably with the * button on my MD-9600 ,problem is that a long press on P4 or * doesn't
clear the function, the TS symbol is still inverted.

I've tested on my MD9600 and the TS override is cleared either by long press on * on the mic or long press on P4

Which build is that ?

I have Jul 28 2022 21:18:19 installed

And nothing happens at all except a short blip when I do long press on the mic or P4

Is an inverted TS1/TS2 symbol an indication on this function or is it something else I have done ?

In channel details the radio display the correct timeslot that I have programmed in the CPS.

Maybe a reset of settings may work ?

Inverted symbol means TS filter is disabled. This is something different.
Press the Orange button, and goto the TS filter setting and enable it.

FYI.
Bold means TS override is enabled.

This is documented in the User Guide, but perhaps its not explained clearly
