Second one.
Is the monitor mode supposed to work even into satellite live data screen?
Thanks.
I ask because by trying to activate the monitor function by pressing SK2, partially starts the voice prompt even if it is not set to my GD-77 (the current setting I use is "beep").

Hi guys.
Ok, I got it and so I answer myself.
The monitor mode is not supposed to work into satellite live data screen and by coincidence I tried to activate the monitor function by pressing the SK2 button in the exact moment in which a satellite began its transit, thus the voice message that I heard other is not that the one emitted automatically while into satellite live data screen when the elevation of the satellite reaches the 0° in the forecast.
I had never tried the satellite function, I must say that it is really impressive and fun.
I left my GD-77 in RX and automatically at the scheduled time I listened to many QSOs via satellites.
There is no other transceiver in the whole world which allows you to do such a thing, only the OpenGD77 firmware make it possible!
Many, many thanks!

I check the directory downloads/GD77/ regularly to find out whether there is a new beta or not.

However, this directory is always empty.

Checking the forum, I saw that the new beta is stored here: /downloads/GD77/d1af69f4d26eade513ced0268cc00b841aa1bb23/

The directory starting with d1... is not visible.

I assume this is by design.

In this case, which is the best way to figure out whether a new beta was released?

Sure I can come to the forum and see, but before the new tree structure I used to check for new files by using a web browser link, directly.

Thanks.

Yes. This is by design.

Announcements about releases etc are always via the forum.

Can anyone explain what the Rx AGC levels in decibels mean?
How to choose the right Rx AGC level in decibels?

Because the audio on the GD77 on DMR has always been lower than necessary, when the AGC feature was created, it was possible to also include an option to also increase the overall audio output level.

Selecting 0dB will actually give roughly the same audio volume level, for DMR audio which is at average levels.

Selecting higher gain values will make the audio louder, but under some conditions can cause clipping

During testing , a wide range of DMR audio levels were observed , with the very loud audio often being caused by traffic from non DMR networks

Was the "Firmware Info and credits" updated in this Beta? I think I had a successful update but it still shows Feb 28?

Thanks team for all you do!

Hello! I noticed that loading this beta on my DM1801 kills the battery in about 4 hours.
The ECO setting i use is 4. The radio becomes warm just sitting monitoring a DMR channel.
The radio works fine on the latest 02-28-2022 release.

Umm.

Sounds like an old bug in the PA DAC control.

This will need to be verified.. Revert to using the stable release
