Thanks Peter.

I hope you are now fully recovered from COVID
I'm in the best of health again - Thanks Roger.

Attached the translated .h file.

The .safe_power_on is one of the difficult strings to translate in less than 16 chars.. Sometimes i wish there would be a scrolling at the onscreen texts ;)
Thanks

I'll update the master copy of the file.

Another update to the localisation files

Sadly the link you wrote does not work for me, the browser gives me the page as not existing, unreachable.

Daniel has added a new feature. See this post for details

Thanks Daniel, I get it.

New firmware downloaded, thanks to both Roger and Daniel!

New text is

.safe_power_on = "Safe Pwr-On" // MaxLen: 16 (with ':' + .on or .off)
It is difficult to translate the function using only a few characters, but I believe that "ON sicuro" it is fine in Italian, so in my opinion the translation is:

.safe_power_on = "ON sicuro" // MaxLen: 16 (with ':' + .on or .off)

My bad.

Typo in the link

It should be

downloads/localisation/onscreen_texts

However, because its only one line, I can easily update it.

Can you also tell me the voice prompt for this. Voice prompts do not need to be 16 characters, they can be longer.

Hi Roger,
thank you very much!
So, here you go the updated italian.h file with the new entry that in retrospect it would be more precise by translating it into Italian with "Sicura su ON", hence:
.safe_power_on = "Sicura su ON":
Being 12 letters I hope it can fit well.
italian.h_OpenGD77 Beta - May 17 2022.zip
Updated italian.h file for the latest firmware OpenGD77 Beta - May 17 2022
(4.5 KiB) Downloaded 53 times
About voice prompt, I think that in Italian "Sicura su interruttore di accensione" makes the idea of what is the meaning of the function, so:

Sicura su interruttore di accensione

Thanks a lot Roger!

Ok. Thanks

I'll try using

.safe_power_on = "Sicura su ON" // MaxLen: 16 (with ':' + .on or .off)

I think this should fit, even including the ":On" and ":Off"
