Hoitspot and WDT changes are totally separate. WDT is an automatic reboot system, aka failsafe.

How do you measure "loss" , do you mean data packet loss, or BER.

In both cases do you comsdtantky log the traffic in MMDVMHost, or is this just the value you see on the PiStar dashboard?

Can you tell me whether the GD77 is transmitting when you see the "Loss" value, and also how long is "long" speech e.g 30 seconds, 300 seconds?

I will only juge on MMDVMHost log file content, as there are so many variables involved here. Also, you didn't even told us which transceiver is used.
