Public Beta (2021 11 17)

New public beta which hopefully fixes both the "Settings Update" problem, and the Suspend mode loss of date and time.
This version also includes a fix for operation when the TS filer is disabled.
It does not fix any other problems. e.g. CPS connection etc

Yes
Japanese specific, as they need Japanese characters in the font.
And we can't fit all English ( Latin ) characters in the firmware at the same time because there is not enough space.
In case someone asks... No we can't make a dedicated Chinese version , as they use thousands of pictogram characters and they won't fit even if we did a version with no Latin characters at all

B2021 11 17 has been running for ~ 20 hours.
Scan mode UHF 16 analog with 8 DMR channels.
There was no rebooting. There was no freezing. It's still running nicely. There is Rx reception. The DMR channel grip is uncertain, it doesn't work.
There were several satellite modes. It was also audible outdoors with a small rubber antenna.
Suspend menu: on. Eco: 2
Comment:
Two radios are on. Unfortunately, one is more than a minute late.

Scanning starts even if there was no scan before turning it off.

Scanning will not start if there was no scan before turning it off.
I understand there was no complete shutdown. But logically strange.

One of my GD77 also rebooted. So more work is needed to fix this bug

Is the noise barrier level interpreted in DMR mode?
Radio option menu
for example
when setting the UHF Squlech level low, the green LED is also lit in DMR mode.
I don't switch to FM listening with
Free
Of course there is no sound. White noise cannot be heard.
If I press the PPT button on the other radio on this channel and then release it.
Then the green LED on this radio is already off.
But soon the LED will turn back on again.
