OK

After some more experiments

https://github.com/rogerclarkmelbourne/ ... SET_V2.zip

Please can you try this version.

It does not do a hardware reset on the C6000 but it sends all the initialisation data and commands etc

Hi Roger,

During the first tests, the reset version also seems to run stable for me.

It seems that the "Reset" version is the one that works best at the moment, 3 TG's open and the transmissions are received continuously without interruptions.
Can you explain the 3 TG open ?

Are you receiving different TG on different TS.

Does the problem occur on Simplex ?

Is there any simple condition where the version from 13th Feb work OK?
I have now connected here 2 dual slot hotspots, one simplex hotspot and a commercial Dual freq repeater.
I control all TG's vía BrandMeister Selfcare & Sysop interface.

Filters in the GD77 are off for TS and TG and on for CC

With all previous versions the GD77 lost the audio of many qso's, with the C6000 reset version jump from one qso to another qso in same or another TS, and for example from TG214 to TG 91.

if change the frequency from A/B vfo (one dual to one simplex) receive ok, if change to another hotspot all work and also if change to repeater.

The delays are small in the worst case of multiple transmissions.. for me this version works all OK.

In the part of battery saver I start the GD77 100 % battery at 5AM, power off at 10 AM, power on at 16.15 PM and now is 22.26 PM the battery are 77%... So it's a big advance.

PS. I guess I need to get up earlier in the morning, so I can do updates before you guys in Europe go to bed.

Shame no one in the USA has this bug, they are awake for most of my day, until the Europeans wake up... But by then its time for me to go to bed ;-)

OK.

I now need to isolate what things from the full initialisation are actually required.

More testing when you wake up ;-)

Try level 1, 2 and 3 and tell me if there is any difference .

I have set the timeout and the duty cycle to always be the value for Level 2 (for all levels 1 - 4)

But the C6000 initialisation varies depending on the level.

Level 1 is the least re-initalisation
Level 2 is medium re-initialisation
Level 3 should be the same as the full re-initialisation, (but not hardware reset) - The same as the previous version.

Thankyou

I just experienced the loss of receive audio on ECO level 1, my battery was at 38%. It would drop in and out for more than 15 seconds at a time, switching channels did not help. Even turning the radio off and on did not do anything either. I am using Beta 16th Feb 2021

OK.

I think this a different issue, because the version on 16th Feb doesn't disable the C6000 DMR chip any more.

I've just done a quick test with the battery at 16% (as I run my radio from a bench PSU and I can vary the voltage), and I'm not experiencing that problem, albeit I am making other changes to the firmware.

Are you sure this is related to Eco Level 1 vs Eco Level 0.
