Win 10 20H2 seems to hang when installing serial driver

Open Firmware uploads to my GD77 just fine and responds correctly but tried to update my basic codeplug and can not upload or download from the radio. It always complains no com port. Appears the driver install hangs a bit when the the CPS is loaded and will not allow the codeplug to be read or written. My system has all the latest updates from MS and perhaps a conflict?
