I'm having the same issue. It's driving me nuts. I'm using the Oct 26 2020 release. I had the same issue using the 2nd Nov 14th release.

Hopefully someone can tell us what version of CPS we can use to fix this, or it will be included in a new update release.

If I may...
I presume the poorly described problem is when you open a single digital channel for editing, Contact (under Digital section) is reset to N/A.
Some time ago attempt was made to fix such problem and it is "fixed" for newly created channels, but if you open some "old" channel, problem still persists, as I may confirm.
After looking for differences between old and new channels, I found out that if a channel has TG List selected (other then None), then Contact gets reset to N/A.

That's the normal behavior, as you cannot define two kinds of contacts, you have to choose between a TG List and a Contact.

Cheers.

Hi Daniel,

Well... You can, by selecting TG List first, then selecting Contact and closing channel editing window. ;)

I'm experiencing the same behavior (Contact or TG List but not both.) What puzzles me is that the Contact specifies the Call ID but the TG List does not. If the TG List is chosen where does the RD-5R get the Call ID?
