in the meantime there have been many updates - you are using an very early firmware

downloads/

Remark: we do have call signs, all things we do are legal, so why hiding with 'bigbloke' and 'BB' ?

Hi,

I guess you have turned the TS filter OFF.
If you overrode the TS, it will stick to the overriden value. To have TS override feedback on screen, go to "Display options" menu, and set "Infos" to "Both", then it will display the TS using a bold font.

Cheers.

I also have professional reasons for using a "nomme de plume".
"Big bloke" (british slang for "large man" incidentally) has been my nickname for over 30 years
That's a kind of an 'oxymoron': 'Big bloke', a nickname since 30 years, as an 'nom de plume'
In my former 'business' we would identify & find such a person within days. ;-)
I am retired now, just enjoying Ham Radio. Sorry for the OT ... back to OpenGD77...

P.S 'oxymoron' is not meant to be an insult => https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oxymoron
