I have a repeater with D036 and it’s not a option in CPS.
E2021.09.14.01

RD5R
I can manually input the dcs but it doesn’t transmit or receive the code.

Looked to see if there was a change log and didn’t see anything in the newer updates about DCS

DCS 036 is non standard.

The standard has 83 codes:

Maybe I’m confused.
Whose standard does openGD77 follow?

Motorola, Yaesu, Icom, Kenwood, Baofeng, TYT, all have 36 and 036 in their DCS. And the RD5R even had it in there as a DCS.
When I lookup Digital Code Squelch those are listed there as well in the group of codes.

The firmware don't follow any manufacturer standard, just the 83 codes from the real standard (see the Wikipedia link in the post above).

Hi!
There is a reason to limit the codes to 83 values - quoting from the Wikipedia article: " Only 83 of the 512 possible codes are available, to prevent falsing due to alignment collisions.". So, adding more codes probably lowers the reliability and may cause misdetection - i.e. opening on a different code than the desired one.
