PTT LOCK, KEYPAD LOCK question

Post by Fecskebeka » Thu Jul 01, 2021 8:00 pm

Greeting!

(DM-1801 - 11:03:23 Jun 13 2121 built beta)

Radio power on
PTT LOCK or/and KEYPAD LOCK function activation
radio power off
next step radio power on again
unfortunately LOCK or/and KEYPAD LOCK function is deactivated

It would be good if you remembered the set function.

Or it could possibly be given to remember or not after switching off and then on radio.

Otherwise a child or stranger will have access to locked buttons.
(I'm not thinking about start code now. You can't even turn it on)

Or is there another kind of lock command here?
As in other cases ..

Thanks.
Zsolt

It was decided long ago to not save these settings.
Instead, define a PIN code in your codeplug.

Cheers.

I understand.
I'm sorry about the decision.
The pin code is intended to prevent the use of the radio.
But that's not my goal. It's just that they can't adjust the setting!

Trivia.
But they lose a little bit of their use. Utility

Thanks

Zsolt
