OpenGD77

Just updated GD77S with new firmware today 6/5/2021 and updated voice files. All the radio will do is say "Settings Update". Appears to be a brick otherwise. Any suggestions?

But there is no GREEN button on the 77S.
It seems to be a bug (which I didn't experienced for unknown reason). I'm investigating.

Perhaps SK2 during boot would fix this, but perhaps it always expects a buton to be pressed

Try to reset the settings: keep the SK2 (blue) button down, and power-up your 77S.
One thing you didn't mentioned is the release date of the installed firmware.

One thing I don't understand: it's not even possible to hear the "settings updated" voice prompt on the GD77S.
Are you sure you have installed latest release of both the firmware and voice prompt pack ?

Where did you download it from ?
