just tried the firmware (from the github release page) on my RD-5R, no problem so far.

Can also not confirm. The latest development version downloaded and flashed via the CPS runs well here on three RD-5Rs.

From the 19.01.2021 is all ok. But not the Development and Beta from 13.02.2021. This is the problem.

We told you that it works for us, without a glitch.

Maybe worth re-downloading the firmware.

I reset the device. I haven't had any problems so far.

What version did you update from.

Sometimes updating from a older version can have some conflicts with the settings.

I added a new setting for Eco Level, and attempted to auto-update the settings to add the new setting without requiring a settings update, for people who were updating from the previous version

But potentially, this is caused by updating to this version from a much older version, and resetting the settings fixed it

Thats interesting

The firmware does not validate the codeplug, it would take too much program ROM space.

So potentially its possible to crash the radio via the codeplug.

When I get some spare time , I'll try loading your codeplug and see if I can work out why it causes a crash / reboot
