Welcome

Can you check the Firmware Info screen and tell me which version the Chinese installed on the radio before sending it to you?

Or did you install the firmware yourself?

Hello,

I ordered one via Aliexpress that had OpenGD77 already pre-installed. I wanted to avoid incompatibility issues.
The order was placed on Jan 9, 2024 and I received it yesterday with version 20230509205957. CPS connects to the device normally and I can upload the codeplug, but I have a problem connecting to the device to update the firmware. Probably a win11 driver, still need to research ... :?

I have a problem attaching a photo (29KB -> Sorry, the board attachment quota has been reached.)

On the screen:

OpenGD77
20230509205957
[ b74d659 D ]
CPU:TYT

OK

Thats interesting the date code on the firmware is very old

20230509205957 = 9th May 2023

Same as usual for items from China, they take a copy of the firmware only one time, and then use it forever

You should probably update, because the last release was 31st December 2023, and there would be many bug fixes since 9th May 2023

Thank you for your response. After updating/instaling the Dfuse drivers, I upgraded the firmware on the device without any problems.
Now:
20231231192808
[ 140939c D ]
CPU:TYT

Thanks again :D

Ok.

Windows 11 unfortunately installs an incompatible version of the driver
