Hello all... I am a new Ham, 3 months or so. My call is KD9WNR; You can find me on QRZ.com.

I have two Hotspots, both running Brand Meister and TGIF. I like playing with Raspberry Pi's. The PI2 Hotspot I keep at home; The Pi Zero I use in the car connected to a cell phone. My primary HT is an AT-878UVIII+. The HT I plan to use as a secondary DMR just arrived today from Aliexpress... The infamous Baofeng DM-5R. I've found conflicting information about this radio. But I like a challenge, so that's why I'm here. I want to get a DM-5R working with my Hotspots and I'm hoping OpenGD77 can help me do that. If I'm trying to do the impossible... Please tell me now
