point to point digital radio

Post by PU4BLA » Mon Nov 21, 2022 7:48 pm

I know that the question runs away from the purpose of the group, if it is not possible to clarify thank you. In the event of having 2 digital radios with opengd77 without access to brandmeister or repeater it is possible to program the codeplug so that the radios communicate in digital alone mode, which configuration to use. I tried several changes color code, ID, frequency, slot - without success

Regards

Hi!
Of course it's possible. Just set the Rx and Tx freq the same, choose a CC and TG, TS is irrelevant in this mode, and set the same for all the radios. Then they should communicate together.

Sorry for the inconvenience.
I did the programming and even changing the frequency within the band limits on two radios, the message comes when transmitting:
"ERROR OUT OF BAND" can you help me, something is wrong.

Try Options, Radio Options, Band Limits and set it to CPS or OFF

If you set to CPS, you need to make sure the band limit values in the CPS cover the frequencies you want to use.
