Hello all!

My real name is MIchael, QTH St. Petersburg (KP50).
73!

P.S. I just got a used DM-1801 (hopefully the first version - serial number starts with 18DM18...).
I've been having some problems communicating with this radio. It looks like the PID and VID are different from the .inf file of the GD77 serial driver.

Hi Michael

The inf file values are only applicable after the OpenGD77 firmware is installed.
The OpenGD77 firmware turns the radio into a Serial comms device, but the official firmware uses a driverless HID device

The OpenGD77 driver won't see the radio until the firmware is installed

BTW.

I have changed your username to your callsign, as this is site policy.

Thanks, already figured it out. Perhaps I was inattentive when reading the documentation.

OK.

No worries...
