Hello and thank you from southern Germany

Post by DG1GMY » Fri Oct 01, 2021 6:15 pm

My name is Michael, callsign DG1GMY. I've been reading here "since the early days"... The forum and GitHub etc. have always been very valuable resources to me, yet I never really had any bigger issues with the devices/firmware, so I simply kept/keep reading and learning. I planned to register quite a few times but somehow never made it — and went on reading :-) Assume there is a huge "read only community" that is at least as thankful as I am. Today I finally registered to say "hello and thank you" and possibly contribute somehow or other from time to time...

Thanks to Roger, Daniel, Colin and all (previous/future) developers, contributors, translaters, testers and supporters! Your ongoing work and patience (i.e. with all the reoccurring questions - despite most if not all being covered in the FAQ and the excellent manual) is highly appreciated!

Cheers
—Michael

Welcome Michael

I agree, there are probably a lot more people who read the forum than who are registered or post to it.
