Always looking for something to investigate

Long time ham, and recent DMR user. I am always interested in trying new modes and such. I also like minimalist radios for search and rescue work. Too many bells and whistles, and it is too easy for things to get messed up in the field by the non-enthusiast. Found the GD-77S, so I had to install a special firmware...
