KG6DOQ in Los Angeles, CA

Post by KG6DOQ » Mon Jun 15, 2020 3:48 am

Hi all -

Been using ham radio & scanners for over 30 years now. Got my first DMR radio, the GD-77 the other day. Loaded the OpenGD firmware and it's working great.

Having trouble getting scan lists to work - I can create the scan list in the CPS and upload it to the radio OK, I just don't find a way to "activate" it. Tried double-tapping the SK3 (orange button on top) but it doesn't do anything. The single tap works as normal, just not the double-tap.

Great to be here. When I'm finished build my Los Angeles code plug, I'll post it here.

Scan lists are not supported at the moment, and potentially never will be, because the firmware supports Zone scans, and a Zone can have up to 80 channels.

Thanks for the info. I can easily work around it by using zone scans.
