Re: New OpenGD77 and OpenMD9600 Beta's . May 31 2022

Having problems with receive and transmit delays on the md-9600 with my hotspot. Used to have the same problem on the gd-77 but sometime it must have gotten fixed. I can monitor with the gd-77 with the same hotspot and hear all incoming transmissions, but the md-9600 misses maybe one out of thirty t...

Re: Installation information

Where can i find the instructions to reverse the install of the open md-9600 back to factory. I have tried a few times, but I am missing something. Assuming you backed up the Flash, you can restore it, and put back the origainal codeplug, and radio password etc etc Then use the official loader to f...

AFIK. No driver is required on any Windows version for the official firmware, because the official firmware shows as standard USB HID device.
so if you have the driver installed for the openmd-6900, do you need to change it to remove firmware to go back to factory?

Re: Installation information

The first post of "Installation information" shows “B” key = Left Arrow, “C” key = Right Arrow. B key happens to work channel skip or nuisance delete, right arrow works it on the GD-77. BTW great job on the build.

Re: Installation information

My left arrow button on the openmd9600 does channel skip. The right button does it on my Opengd77. Are these buttons backwards?

Re: Stable release (2022 02 28)

What tools do you use. Give me some ideas please! My other Radioddity GD-77 receives same conversation just fine. Did the radio with OpenGD77 also work fine on the hotspot before? If so maybe you've lost calibration in it itself or just need to tweak it. Reference oscillator tuning in OpenGD77 is w...

Re: Stable release (2022 02 28)

Switched the duplex hotspot to simplex mode. works perfectly. No more missed transmissions in or out now. If anyone has any idea what i need to change on the duplex hotspot to get it to work right, I am all ears. The Latest version of opengd firmware works awesome in simplex mode on the hotspot. I ...

Wonder what I have set wrong on the duplex side if the simplex side works perfectly.
