I noticed someone calling themselves open-ham copied all the last source code back onto github over 1 month ago. So anyone can rebuild the firmware from that repository. I know that multiple people are building their own custom versions and some are distributing them via various non-public methods T...

Umm If you backed up each radio separately then restore the backups to the same radios, I don't see how you can have a problem with the version Unless you are saying that you are installing a different official version of the firmware to the version prior to the installation of the OpenGD77 firmware...
