New GD77's hard to find, discontinued?
I was looking to add a 4th GD-77 after reading on FB that batteries are getting scarce and it appears the Radiodity no longer shows the GD77 for sale on their website, and "currently unavailable" shows on Amazon's webpage. There are several on EBay for $150, which is almost double what I paid for th...

Re: Is there any intention to continue this wonderful project?
Thanks Roger, Daniel and the rest of the team. I've installed the latest firmware to three GD-77's without a problem. Seems to be working fine in DMR and analog. I really appreciate the effort you guys put in.

Re: whoosh sound at ends of DMR transmissions
Thanks for the detailed explanation Colin, makes perfect sense. After Daniel's suggestion to turn on the CC filter the bulk of the noise disappeared. The HR-C6000 DMR chip and the firmware normally check the CC to ensure that the received signal is valid. This check is built into the hardware. I man...

Re: whoosh sound at ends of DMR transmissions
I was able to eliminate most of the squawking by enabling the DMR RxG filter.

Re: whoosh sound at ends of DMR transmissions
Here's a link to a short video which illustrates the squawks that occur at the beginning or tail end of transmission sometimes. My firmware is the latest version from April 3, 2021. All three radios behave the same. https://photos.app.goo.gl/ZTLZLks5EhBCpgBP8

whoosh sound at ends of DMR transmissions
I'm running the last firmware from April 3rd and have always heard a sshhh or wooshh sound at the beginning or end of a transmission coming from my pi-star hotspot. I've only owned my three GD-77's for a couple weeks and immediately installed OpenGD77, so I thought this behavior was normal. Yesterda...

Re: Recent versions of firmware will be removed
Well Roger, sorry you had to limit your exposure to potential litigation for a project that's brought some happiness to thousands of hams around the world. It bummed me out after only know about Opengd77 for a week, I can't imagine how you're feeling. If in fact you have to give it up, the code's in...

Re: VFO change digital to analog from keypad?
Thank you for the info on changing the VFO mode. It worked of course. I did read the whole manual, but couldn't find it later when I needed to change the mode. I see it's on the OpenGD77 cheatsheet now too, missed that too. BTW, thanks for writing this firmware Roger. I was ready to return the radio...

VFO change digital to analog from keypad?
On my GD77 with OpenGD77 fw dated 3/21/2021 I have VFO A preset to digital and VFO B preset to analog via the CPS software. I am able to change from VFO A to B and vice versa via the orange button and can directly entering frequency on the keypad, but I can't find how to change from analog to digita...
