10/25 pre-release issue
Hi, I just loaded the new test version (10/25) and my GD-77 could not connect to my hotspot anymore. I then reverted it back to the 10/16 version and it worked again. The hotspot is a pi3B+ with latest pistar version. Not sure what changed, but the timing sync was not established between the radio a...

Re: New stable version has been released
Thanks for the new release. I just loaded it and noticed a change. The power on beep is not played anymore when the radio has "silent" selected under the sound options->prompt I liked the silent mode when changing channels, etc, but the feedback on the power on beep (or my CW call) is reassuring du...

Re: Voice prompts
Hi, Quick question, I might have missed this, but I just realized the language options now have VOICE (L1), L2, L3. I assume I can upload more than one language. If that is the case, how these variables are loaded with the target language? I am assuming I can upload 3 languages and the latest one w...

Re: NA7Q - Unofficial Firmware Build [9/19][GD-77]
I always use the "development" branch which has the latest and the greatest code on the experimental level. I will typically post about the stability of the firmware if it's not so stable. Which usually is never the case. Thanks... I like the interface version you modified. One question that I alwa...

Re: NA7Q - Unofficial Firmware Build [9/19][GD-77]
Thanks... I like the interface version you modified. One question that I always wanted to know is which official OPENGD77 experimental build/date is used for the base of the changes. I ask that because I got two radios. One GD-77 I keep to the latest experimental level that Roger releases. Any chang...

Re: How to reinstalled the official firmware late ???
I put back one of my radios to the stock firmware without backing up these registers. Apparently there was no harm since I was able to boot the radio normally after that. Was I lucky or may be the latest stock firmware does not do this check anymore? Thanks. It seems to be a bit random. One our two...
