Re: Flaws with new versions (scan/recognising burst)

Since the last 2 FWs, it is regular that I only hear DMR data instead of voice. I am not able to understand the exact conditions that create the problem but it happens regularly. Occasionally I see a signal, but nothing, no voice and DMR frame audio, no decoding. But most of the time I hear the DMR ...

Re: GD-88, the new Radioddity DMR radio

(...) Moreover, what's being asked above is about development on both the radio side but also the "hotspot" side, which has never been the focus of this development and this forum. I suggest my fellow Canadian ham to seek that level of commitment from the hotspot platform people instead. And I thou...

Proposal GD77 multimode + Web Transceiver

Since a member didn't appreciate that the topic inadvertently veered off to the GD77's functionality expansion capabilities instead of the original topic, we've moved the main points here for ease of research and discussion. 73 to all, good development and good discussion! (...) It would be interest...

Re: GD-88, the new Radioddity DMR radio

In HotSpot mode, the gd77 receives a dmr signal which sends it to the raspberry pi which is processed via a software suite, including mmdvm. This one does the routing or transcoding according to the command sent at the Pi-star for example. If I dial TG 71083 I communicate in YSF but i'm in dmr. The ...

Re: GD-88, the new Radioddity DMR radio

Would it be possible to do then like a Node-Ventures but with just the DMR function in RX/TX but allowing multimode via the raspberry pi. It could thus in HotSpot mode have access to AllStar, Echolink, YSF, D-Star, NXDN and P25. The only thing is that the input and output will absolutely have to be ...

Re: GD-88, the new Radioddity DMR radio

It looks to be along the same lines as the Kydera DM880UV. Their DB-25G mobile is also derived for the similar Kydera product. I have one of the DB-25G radios and it seems to work fine as long as you use the third party CPS. Exactly, the Kydera is a true dual band. It can receive DMR or FM at the s...

Hi Roger,

any chance to add it to the "contact list" and the "insert" function soon?

Re: New GD77 and MD9600 Beta firmware June 19th 2022

hi,

I am doing the programming and I need the ''DCS'' as Tone. There are CTCSS and DQT options but not DCS. Is it possible to add these?

Re: New CPS - June 19th 2022

Hi Roger, Thanks for this addition. It's really welcome and long awaited to organize our codeplugs. Will it be possible to add ''insert'' and make all the additions for the TG's (Digital Contacts) and Zone (only ''Insert'' is missing)? In the CPS, is it possible to add all the adjustments of the rad...

Re: New GD77 Beta - April 2022 (2022 04 09)

Can anyone explain what the Rx AGC levels in decibels mean? How to choose the right Rx AGC level in decibels? 73, Victor, ER1CW. Because the audio on the GD77 on DMR has always been lower than necessary, when the AGC feature was created, it was possible to also include an option to also increase th...
