Anyone experiencing increased BER values on the testing firmware?

The second version of yesterday does behave better. The first one and the one you attached cause the loss of syllables.

Yes, I'm quite sure for it as I tried several QSOs after testing out with a parrot.

We can arrange a SKED to test it out, just name the timing which suits you.

I have a Radioddity GD-77 and flashed it with the appropriate file from the link above.

Just tried it out: the "motorboat" pulsing sound has disappeared — at least when I say nothing and keep silence while pressing PTT
However the talking pitch is not linear, it goes with some stuttering. Tested it out with a parrot.

Got two Radioddity GD-77 radios which have been immediately flashed to OpenGD77. For one of them there's the same effect: the chopping sound. Unfortunately, I cannot tell whether the same issue persists on the stock firmware.

Just ordered an odd radio, I intend to put the open firmware to :)
