OpenGD77

On the GD77, there is almost no background noise on PTT without modulation.
On the Retevis RT3s, it sounds like wind noise.
With external handheld microphone, the effect is no longer present.

compared to the GD77, the RT3s makes significantly more background noise with PTT without modulation!
Can anyone confirm that?
Can you do something about it?

Look for the Retevis RT-90. That is the same radio and is still available. Retevis.eu claims it has them in stock. I've got one more question: - Is it possible to start the scanner ON THE DEVICE with a long press (arrow down or up)? I use a stand microphone! I think,

- no RX-signal (no s-meter line or minimal)
- max. RX-level (full s-meter line)
- in between, deviations can be tolerated !
