Re: Possible HotSpot bug

@Daniel, pi-star@pi-star(ro):~$ MMDVMHost -v result MMDVMHost version 20200615_Pi-Star_v4 git #3313fe8 This is the same version running on the pi with the hat that doesn't lose the transmissions. @Roger I'm installing that version now and will monitor. Thank you both for the help. OK. Thanks

Re: Displaying currently received time slot information

We are limited in the space to display this.

If the TS does not match the Tx TG the display will be shown in inverse video.
However it also shows in inverse video if the TG does not match the Tx TG.

So this is not a guaranteed way to know that TS, unless the incoming signal is always on the Tx TG

Re: Possible HotSpot bug

Hi Daniel, the working version displays OpenGD77: v0.1.4 in the dash. The version I noticed the issue in is the current public version that displays v0.1.6 I'd not upgraded my hotspot radio for ages so it could have been broken for a while. Simon Can you test the version immediately prior to when p...

Re: Scan speed versus sensitivity

Hi Roger, Just a quick comment to say that the present implementation works beautifully. The 30ms increments are easy to understand and they provide a lot of range in the settings for the user to experiment with. Maybe it's not necessary to change what you have already created? Thanks, Rob W1AEX Th...

Re: Voltage measurement calibration ?

Hi Roger, Daniel and other developers! I have 2 GD-77s bought in the "double pack", so they should be from the same production batch with the same parts. However, they differ in the battery voltage measurement, so alsio in the estimated battery percentage. For example, just now, one of the batterie...

Re: Hello from the UK

Hi Julian

Your existing codeplug will work, but with the OpenGD77 firmware you can cleanup your codeplug and remove the duplicate channels.

See the CPS section in the User Guide

Re: Scan speed versus sensitivity

Well, the plot thickens. I changed the code to allow the number of steps per second to be used instead of the dwell / sample time, but when I did some timing tests the values were not what I expected. The problem is that is a set-up time associated with changing channel and also updating the display...

Re: Scan speed versus sensitivity

I can use Scan speed: in cps , but I think the units of 'cps' would be confusing as people may confuse this with the CPS software I prefer not to use an arbitrary scan speed list like 1 to 10 as it requires to operator to read the userguide to know what speeds the numbers relate to. I guess we could...
