It will probably work even though the description says STM32 whereas the GD-77 uses the MK22 CPU
BTW. What firmware is currently in the radio. The official firmware ??

Re: VE2XPM - How to get started with development?
Yes.
Its not essential to have a debugger connected, but it does make development significantly easier and quicker.
Uploads via SWD take around 5 seconds, and being able to put breakpoints in the code and inspect variables etc is very handy.

Re: [Fixed] RX CTCSS does not work...
If I merge this fix, I'd get complains from anyone using CTCSS on FM if it adds a squelch noise at the end of each over. Any fix should not introduce new problems. Well Colin fix or something else broke the rx ctcss, it is not usable anymore. our repeater needs rx ctcss (it is hybrid FM/DMR) Do you...

Re: Wanting to use OPEN GD77 BRICKED My HT and broke 'bootloader mode' :(
Unless I'm missing something that I don't understand both of the product descriptions you sent to me state they support: J-Link V8 Debugger JLINK Arm Cortex-M4/M0 Emulator The product I bought also states: Support ARM7/9/11 (including thumb mode), Cortex-M0/M1/M3/M4 core None of the three talk abou...

Re: Wanting to use OPEN GD77 BRICKED My HT and broke 'bootloader mode' :(
Atollic(Truestudio) stm32? Is a completely different development system for a different processor. All the radios that are currently supported use the NXP MK22 processor So that Q/A is irrelevant I think if you by the $16 "J-Link V8 Debugger JLINK Arm Cortex-M4/M0 Emulator" its likely to work. I ha...

Re: Wanting to use OPEN GD77 BRICKED My HT and broke 'bootloader mode' :(
I'm a bit concerned that link says STM32 on it, because the radio does not use the STM32 chip. There are a couple of options. Get a unknown JLink e.g. from Amazon https://www.amazon.com/J-Link-Debugger-Cortex-M4-Emulator-Downloader/dp/B07RT5MLQ5/ref=sr_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=j-link+arm&qid=1587859789...
