Re: CPS R2024.03.09.01 Radio Shut Down?
I just checked and I'm pretty sure its because the radio was turned off before entering DFU mode i.e If you turn off the radio from the green button on the front panel Then turn off the PSU Then hold Orange and P1 to enter DFU , and while still holding Orange and P1, turn on the PSU... The radio wil...

Re: CPS R2024.03.09.01 Radio Shut Down?
I just downloaded the new CPS, R2024.03.09.01 to my TYT MD-UV390. It seems to work fine, but a major change is that it turns off my radio after I write to it (reading does not shut off the radio). The previous version left the radio on after a write. I don't see any mention of this in the PDF that ...

Re: == Hello from VO1KJM /VE9 73 ==
Welcome You probably already know but you can manually enter TG numbers and also have lists of TG's which you assign to a specific channel You are limited to 32 TG's in each list, but you could group TG's into separate lists if you have loads of them. You would then need to duplicate channels and us...

Re: Any Plans for CPS to Save Radio Settings?
I'm new to OpenGD77 on a new TYT MD-UV390 and am loving the combination. However, I did accidentally pressed SK2 while powering on and of course reset the FW and so all the radio settings. That's when it dawned on me that there's nowhere in the CPS where radio settings are stored. Am I missing some...

Re: Keypad lock and PTT does not work on RT3S
The green key (menu)+* or green key+# combination has no effect, the keyboard is never blocked, occasionally the PTT is blocked. It doesn't work with both short and long key presses. Thank you See the User Guide https://github.com/LibreDMR/OpenGD77_UserGuide/blob/master/OpenGD77_User_Guide.md#lock-...

Re: TYT MD-2017 Alpha 2.2
Do a settings reset i.e Turn the radio on while holding SK2 (Round button on the side above the PTT) After settings have been reset, go into Options -> Display Options -> Timeout and change it to 5 seconds. Make sure you don't have the squelch open. i.e If the green led on the top of the radio is il...

Baofeng DM-1701B aka Retevis RT-84 available on AliBaba
It looks like the Baofeng DM-1701B aka Retevis RT-82 is becomming available from some vendors on AliBaba, so hopefully in the long term vendors on AliExpress will pick up on this and make them more widely available, because the B variant of the radio, which was also sold as a Retevis RT-84 has a bet...

Re: Distance display is wrong after quitting scan
Sounds like a bug.
Calculating the distance during the scan would be too processor intensive, but the cached distance should be updated when the scanning stops on a channel, but it sounds like this is not happening
