just downloaded 1801 version sql and its still august 18 version without CTCSS or DCS scan type selection in meniu

and there we still have "The control keys and buttons" picture where scan function activation is shown as "orange tap twice"

if you dont program individual squelch level for selected channel in codeplug - then squelch level from options will be used when you switch to that channel, if you want change squelch on the go - jus use left right buttons...

And with original firmware all problems is gone ?

Looks like pc9990 works on some masters and don't on others

No problem with my 1801, pi2 and diamond x200 external antenna - hotspot works all day at any power you set it, 5w too...
Maybe try to change usb cable, or rpi power adapter...
