Re: UV-390 Plus GPS 10W Screen Backlight Not Working
Hello, so the 10W is a marketing trick? So then I don't have to download the 10w OPENGD77, that is, I can just flash the UV 380 or 5w 390? Please advise. This has really concerned me. Best, Gregory KN6ZFM Hardware is different on the 10W version. Use the version for the 10W Plus radio See https://w...

Re: TYT 390 Plus 10W
I bought this radio, the PLUS (although when I finally receive it in the mail, I'm going to take the battery out and check the W. Regardless, 1) what is the latest OPEN GD77 for my TYT, and, 2) can I just flash the regular 5w uv 390 plus firmware? Thank you, brothers of the OPENGD77. Gregory https:...

Re: Flat audio (9600baud G3RUH) data port from SP/MIC?
BTW
The radio can generate 1200 baud using the TRx chip, but I never found a way to route clear Rx audio to the CPU input ADC

Re: Flat audio (9600baud G3RUH) data port from SP/MIC?
With the UV380 the audio would need to have it's electronic routing changed, so that it does not go via the C6000 DMR/FM chip, but there is no volume control in this path. The TRx chip has limited audio output gain control which is the reason this path is not used. I also agree with Colin about the ...

Re: A recent development for the General Information of all DMR Users
Guys.
While it's good to keep up to date with radio related news, AFIK this does not affect the OpenGD77 firmware or CPS, so I will lock the tread now, as this forum is only for things related to OpenGD77

Re: Line Break in DMRID.CSV
Firmware does not support and form line breaks for multiple reasons, including the custom character set and the data compression for DMR ID text data

Re: Odd CTSS decode issue
Thank you for the responses, I sure do appreciate it. It's just weird to me that one radio (the 9600) has issues where other radios don't seem to have any issues at all with the same transmissions (GD-77, SDS-100). Perhaps the 9600 is more strict about CTSS decoding, or perhaps it's a Chinese radio...
