OpenGD77

Hello. Does anybody own md380 and baofeng or gd77. I own both and did a test. Md380 has much worser rx reception than baofeng 1801 does. I did a research on uhf and vhf. On uhf it works more or less ok, but on vhf, its a really big difference. Any suggestions. Will be possible to calibrate it? Br M...

Thanks Colin, I outsmarted myself into the state of confusion, because my rt-3s is equipped with GPS
Reading 'None - No GPS detected in the radio' will explain what some may see

Selectable options are: 'Off', 'On' and 'NMEA'.

Looks like, for PMR frequencies this does not matter, if there are capital letters or not
As designed, for licensed Amateur Radio use (the manual says so), the software performs quite well

What will be the problem? Thank you, 73 same on my RT-3S. You have to measure the voltage on the back side, (~ 8.2 Volt is 100%) Go to 'Radio Info' and look, what battery voltage you seeing. Note that value Most probably less than the one you measured. Note the difference. After this go to 'Option'...

Thanks to all for their hard work! ... this is confusing for new users who don't have a GD77 etc so perhaps those keys should be reversed I am an all time user/owner of a GD77 ;-) Think up should be 'up' and down should be 'down', as said, not a big deal. I don't understand the comment on brightness...

On my RT3S OpenMDUV380 Firmware Sep 20.

cosmetics: up-arrow will reduce power setting, down arrow will increase power
Similar 'reverse' assignment in display brightness (and maybe on other functions)
