Is this the position of the relay that should be put in?
YES, anything else would make sense ;-)

Using the latest firmware, you just need to press PTT, without SK1/SK2

Re: FYI - GPS

I bought another RT3S GPS recently, s/n: 2212R03S11012XX with TYT MCU (clone STM32) which seems to have much better GPS reception compared to my oldest RT3S ( s/n: 2202R03S11019XX ) . ... following the general trend of the recent times, i also bought a second RT3S :-) It's serial is 2105R03s11041xx...

Re: FM APRS

If GPS was on and position aquired, APRS position sent once, next GPS switched off, next RT-3S powered down and powered
up again after several hours,- without GPS - apparently the last position is stored and can be sent via APRS (PTT and short SK1)

Am I right ?

Re: Canada Codeplug - visiting Vancouver / Vancouver Island

If you can't find a codeplug, use 'RepeaterBook' App. It will show you the next repeater from your present location. I have programmed a zone with 10 'free' channels in my RT-3S. Checked with RepeaterBook at the very moment, selected the next repeater and saw all details, the TX/RX and CTCSS. Now vi...

Re: Frequency offset direction feature?

AFIK, offset is only -600 kHz for VHF and -7,6 or -2 MHz on UHF None of the HT I have seen having a scrollable list. All of them have one entry for VHF and one for UHF, and they recognize by entry of frequency if it is VHF or UHF. Amazing discussion, Kenwood and Yaesu have such entries since ever. I...

Re: Frequency offset direction feature?

Out of curiosity would it be possible to add a option to set a frequency offset and it's direction in one of the menus to facilitate programing from the radio quicker? I don't really understand, what you mean with this, offset a frequency from what? Maybe from a memory channel? That would be the VF...
