Re: DMR Rx clicking and other sound problems

This is a design flaw with some versions of these radios.
It needs a hardware mod to fix it.

Re: Flaws with new versions (scan/recognising burst)

The Rt3s firmware has several improvements over the other radios. Once we have decided it is stable we will feed those changes back to the other radios.

Re: ALPHA version - Known problems

We don't know for certain what speed the factory firmware uses because we don't have access to any of their source code. The different CPU frequencies should not be noticeable, and for most people will not make any difference. For those who are experiencing the dropout issue it might help. I would s...

Re: Power calibration may be wrong

At the moment there is no way of adjusting the calibration without going back to the factory firmware. We are considering ways that this might be done. The difference between the factory and the openGD77 firmware is not great, so it is unlikely to case any problems. However if you wish to be cautiou...

Sorry, I don't understand what you are saying.

The colour code scan works as it should on the VFO screen.

Re: New Beta version 2022 09 23

I have read elsewhere that some of the modules that support Bediou and Glonast as well as GPS are very slow. It seems like they spend a lot of time looking for satellites from the different networks before deciding which one to use. Some people suggest turning off the other systems speeds up the acq...

Re: ALPHA 2022-09-22-01

Yes, If you already have an MDUV380 running the firmware you just need to put the radio into firmware update mode and upload the .bin file using the Extras Menu.

The levels cannot currently be adjusted in spectrum sweep scan.
This will be fixed in a future release.

Re: Greetings and Problems programing a tyt md 760

There are two standards of programming cable for different manufacturers. I think TYT and beofeng are different . They are identical except the D+ and D- signal lines are swapped. The ground remains the same. +5V is not needed. If you have made your own cable try swapping the D+ and D- lines. Colin.
